Irrigation Project Updates

Course Conditions

Updated 6/17/2025 -  Holes #4, #5, and #9 are CLOSED today, Tuesday, June 17th. We expect hole #9 will re-open by June 18 or June 19.

Crews are making great progress on the irrigation replacement on Holes #4 and #5, but these holes remain closed at this time.

We will offer discounted daily green fee pricing based on the number of holes currently open.

About the Project

TCPUD is investing $2.1 Million to replace Tahoe City Golf Course's aging irrigation system. The irrigation system at Tahoe City Golf Course has been in place since 1976, well beyond the typical 30-year lifespan for mountain environments. Thanks to ongoing maintenance, it has lasted longer than expected, but it’s time for a full replacement.

The new system will be more water efficient, have improved turf coverage, and provide a better golf experience for customers.

The project is funded by TCPUD property tax revenue and golf course revenue. This project is not supported by water and sewer rates.
